Foreign Language Learning Planning and Curriculum Design

The course introduces you to the underlying principles and practices of foreign language curriculum design, development, implementation, and evaluation as a conceptual framework to shape their professional practices. This course also familiarizes you with various patterns of curriculum design and factors that underlie different curricula designs that prospective teachers need to understand in order to make sense out of the school curriculum and instruction.

The course is self-paced. It means that you can work with all the units at a convenient time before the final date of the course. Every unit finishes with the unit test. All the test results are summed up to make the final score.


Research Writing in Language and Education Studies

The aim of the course is to guide you in the process of composing your scientific research paper, searching for scientific publications with the help of common scientometric tools and databases, and to provide the opportunity to practice putting scientific ideas on paper clearly and persuasively. A secondary goal is to build participants’ scientific vocabulary, as well as to deepen the knowledge on academic integrity and research ethics.

Курс «Німецькомовний науковий дискурс» має на меті формувати у здобувачів вищої освіти другого (магістерського) рівня вміння готувати усні монологічні жанри (наукова доповідь, наукове повідомлення), а також резюме магістерського дослідження та удосконалювати усвідомлення важливості дотримання норм та правил академічної доброчесності у науковій діяльності.
